TDI or IANTD Advanced Nitrox

Advanced Nitrox is a technical diving course. It focuses on the use of enriched air nitrox (EANx) mixtures, including those up to 100% oxygen, for non-decompression dives. This course is designed to teach divers how to safely plan and execute dives using multiple gas mixtures, enhancing their understanding of gas management, dive planning, and equipment configuration for more advanced diving. Divers will also learn how to use and use and manage a twinset as well as a decompression bottle.
Duration 3-4 days

Depth Limit: The course allows divers to dive up to 40 meters (130 feet).

Gases Used: Standard nitrox or air for the deeper portions of a dive.
Higher oxygen-content nitrox (up to pure oxygen) for shallower depths, typically to reduce nitrogen accumulation and extend dive limits.
Equipment: Focus on twin tanks and a single stage/decompression cylinder.

Applications: Ideal for divers that want to learn how to manage a second gas and increase efficiency and competency with a twin set and decompression bottle.
A steppingstone for divers progressing to decompression diving or further technical certifications.

Prerequisites:
Basic certification in nitrox diving.
Minimum 25 nitrox dives after certification.
